Kilowise is an independent tool for comparing Texas electricity plans. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of the Public Utility Commission of Texas, PowerToChoose, any transmission/distribution utility, or any retail electricity provider named on this site.
Plan pricing and terms come from the same public data Texas's official comparison site publishes, plus, for some plans, automated reading of that plan's own published Electricity Facts Label. Kilowise does not independently verify pricing with each provider, and the underlying public data can lag a provider's actual current offer. A "compare your own offer" figure you enter yourself is used exactly as entered and isn't verified against anything.
Estimated costs, cliff-warning badges, and rankings on this site are provided for informational purposes only and are not a guarantee of what you will actually be billed. The absence of a cliff-warning badge on a plan is not a guarantee that plan has no such threshold. It means Kilowise hasn't found one written into that plan's disclosure the way it currently reads it. Kilowise is not responsible for any cost difference between an estimate shown here and what a provider actually bills you, or for any contract, fee, or obligation you enter into with a third-party provider.
Links to a plan's Electricity Facts Label, a provider's enrollment page, or a provider's own website go directly to that third party's site, outside Kilowise's control. Read a plan's actual EFL and the provider's own terms before enrolling.
