What Kilowise does and doesn't do with anything you enter.

Kilowise doesn't have user accounts, doesn't use cookies, doesn't run any analytics or advertising script, and doesn't send anything you type to a third party. The zip code and usage figures you enter to get a cost comparison are used only to compute that comparison and are not saved anywhere tied to you.
There's no sign-up, no login, and nothing to create an account with. The "compare your own offer" feature (where you can enter a provider's renewal or loyalty offer directly) exists entirely as part of that one request. The numbers you type are used to compute that page's results and are gone once the response is sent, and are never written to a database.
Like any web server, Kilowise keeps a basic operational log of requests it handles. This log does not include your IP address, and does not include query-string data, so a request to compare plans does not log the zip code or usage figures you entered. This log exists to catch errors and understand load, not to track visitors, and it isn't tied to any individual.
The one exception: when you look up plans by zip code, Kilowise caches the result so a repeat lookup for the same zip, from anyone, doesn't need to hit the lookup service again. That cache stores only the zip code and the utility it maps to, not who looked it up.
Kilowise's own code never writes to your browser's local or session storage, and sets no cookies. The one exception is caching recent page snapshots in your browser's session storage purely to make back/forward navigation faster. That stays entirely on your device, is never sent to the server, and isn't used to identify or track you.
